2009 Packers NFL Draft: Analysis

Overall, a very good to excellent draft that filled pressing needs at DT, OLB, and OT for our new 3-4 defensive scheme and the future offensive line options on offense. Generally, the latter picks in Johnson, Wynn, Underwood, and Jones are decent potential development prospects, especially FB Johnson for crucial short yardage formations. Thus, TT & staff get an overall B+ for a nice job with the limited picks. We shall see how the team makes the transition on defense to be an effective defense in the early games of the 2009 season.
