The bye week seems to have come at a great time for the Packers. (Does it ever come at a bad time?)
Bigby and Clifton returned to the practice field on Wednesday and could be set for Sunday's game vs the Lions. Colledge and Brandon Jackson practiced fully.
Having Clifton and Colledge to help out on the offensive line while Jackson catches screen passes (a play used more often than normal vs Vikings) will be a big upgrade. Bigby back at safety will help the defense regardless of how much he can play.
Other injuries:
Deshawn Wynn missed practice Wednesday with a bum knee.
Cullen Jenkins (ankle), Ryan Pickett (hip) and Tauscher (knee) all were limited in practice. Jenkins and Pickett should be ready for the Lions.
Popinga is sick and missed Wednesday practice.
Korey Hall might be out a few weeks with a calf injury. That means rookie Quinn Johnson will play on Sunday at Fullback.
Also...Rookie corner Brandon Underwood looks good to go for Sunday.
For the Lions...
Stafford was limited in practice on Wednesday and Calvin Johnson was out again. Johnson, the Lions most talented offensive player, probably will not play on Sunday.
