Today Packers GM Thompson announced the release of 11 players.  The players are quarterback Ingle Martin, center C.J. Blomvall, wide receiver Carlton Brewster, fullback Erryn Cobb, punter Ryan Dougherty, defensive end DeVon Hicks, cornerback Antonio Malone, guard Pat Murray, running back P.J. Pope, linebacker Juwan Simpson and tight end Joe Werner.  They are no surprises.  By the 8-28-07 deadline, the team must reduce its roster to the NFL mandatory 75 man limit.

Update:  On 8-27-07, fullback Ryan Powdrell was place on injured reserve to reach the NFL mandatory 75 man limit.
